Job summary

PwC UK is seeking a pensions consultant to drive data and benefits projects within our Data, Benefits and Operations network. The role focuses on large-scale pensions data, benefit services and governance across client engagements, from risk settlement to ongoing management.

As part of PwC's wider pensions network, you will contribute to data reviews, GMP rectification and equalisation, and benefit projects, supporting senior managers in leading complex engagements and ensuring quality delivery

Qualifications

• Pensions consultant with substantial data and benefits experience.
• PMI or Actuarial Qualification (or an international equivalent).
• Advanced Excel modelling; familiarity with additional analytical tools/software advantageous.
• Excellent client and stakeholder management skills, with strong analytical abilities and excellent presentation and report writing skills.
• Proven business development capability, with a network of contacts and success in delivering proposals and pitches.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex pensions engagements and manage client relationships.
• Oversee delivery teams and ensure high quality governance and risk management.
• Produce and present insights, reports and proposals to stakeholders.
• Support business growth and opportunities through client development and pitches.
• Collaborate across data reviews, GMP rectification and equalisation projects.

Pensions administration is evolving from a back‑office function into a strategic driver of scheme success and improved member outcomes, despite increasing industry pressures. PwC's Data, Benefits and Operations (DBO) team supports trustee and corporate clients by providing outsourced pensions data and benefit services, helping schemes prepare for risk settlement or ongoing management.

About The Role

Pensions administration is evolving from a back‑office function into a strategic driver of scheme success and improved member outcomes, despite increasing industry pressures. PwC's Data, Benefits and Operations (DBO) team supports trustee and corporate clients by providing outsourced pensions data and benefit services, helping schemes prepare for risk settlement or ongoing management. As part of PwC's wider pensions network, the team delivers specialist expertise across data reviews, cleansing, GMP rectification and equalisation, benefit projects, AI-enabled solutions, operational change, governance and risk management. Senior Managers lead complex engagements, manage client relationships, oversee delivery teams, and support business growth and quality

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Significant pensions knowledge and experience in large-scale projects
• Advanced Excel modelling; familiarity with additional analytical tools/software advantageous.
• Excellent client and stakeholder management skills, with strong analytical abilities and excellent presentation and report writing skills.
• Proven business development capability, with a network of contacts and success in delivering proposals and pitches.
• High standards of technical accuracy, governance, and delivery under pressure.
