Job summary

PwC UK is seeking a pensions consultant with deep data and benefits expertise to join the Data, Benefits and Operations team in Reading. You will lead large-scale pensions data projects, drive improvements in governance, and deliver value for trustee and corporate clients.

You will apply advanced Excel modelling, manage client relationships, and help win new work through proposals and pitches, while ensuring high standards under pressure.

Qualifications

• Pensions consultant with substantial data and benefits experience at a leading consultancy.
• PMI or Actuarial Qualification (or an international equivalent).
• Advanced Excel modelling; familiarity with additional analytical tools/software advantageous.
• Excellent client and stakeholder management, with strong analytical abilities and presentation skills.
• Proven business development capability with a network of contacts and success in proposals.
• High standards of technical accuracy, governance, and delivery under pressure.

About The Role

Pensions administration is evolving from a back‑office function into a strategic driver of scheme success and improved member outcomes, despite increasing industry pressures. PwC's Data, Benefits and Operations (DBO) team supports trustee and corporate clients by providing outsourced pensions data and benefit services, helping schemes prepare for risk settlement or ongoing management.

About The Role

Pensions administration is evolving from a back‑office function into a strategic driver of scheme success and improved member outcomes, despite increasing industry pressures. PwC's Data, Benefits and Operations (DBO) team supports trustee and corporate clients by providing outsourced pensions data and benefit services, helping schemes prepare for risk settlement or ongoing management. As part of PwC's wider pensions network, the team delivers specialist expertise across data reviews, cleansing, GMP rectification and equalisation, benefit projects, AI-enabled solutions, operational change, governance and risk management. Senior Managers lead complex engagements, manage client relationships, oversee delivery teams, and support business growth and quality

What Your Day Will Look Like
