Senior Manager, Investment Optimization & Standards (Restaurants)

Position Overview

The purpose of this role is to lead initiatives in collaboration with markets to optimize capital investments in restaurant development activities, supporting their opening and reinvestment plans in line with brand standards.

This role requires close collaboration with market teams, Global Restaurant Development & Design Team, and the broader Restaurant Experience organization to achieve strategic goals.

Reporting Line

Reports to the Senior Director of Global Development, Investment Optimization & Standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead initiatives with markets to enhance value and optimize capital investments in restaurant development and construction solutions.
2. Partner with markets, segment teams, third parties, and other functions to support prototyping and applying optimized restaurant investment solutions.
3. Maintain globally applicable tools (e.g., building right-sizing calculator) to inform strategies and activities.
4. Drive standardization and scaling of solutions beneficial to markets.
5. Collaborate with Global Strategic Sourcing Services and Segment teams to identify sourcing opportunities for standardized solutions.
6. Provide guidance, benchmarking, best practices, and training to market resources and functions.
7. Support multidisciplinary projects by providing insights and input to key stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in restaurant development, construction, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in development, with broad management knowledge across multiple functional areas of a multi-site international operator, including construction, engineering, and real estate.
• Experience in development cost analysis to identify profitability and drive value in capital investments.
