Job summary

BDO UK in Leeds is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Risk Advisory Services (RAS) team. You will lead defined engagements, plan and deliver, ensuring output meets BDO standards.

You will work with Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners to build trusted client relationships, support junior members, and balance engagement management with hands-on audits, including using data analytics or emerging AI-enabled techniques.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal audit or risk and assurance engagements.
• Ability to plan, deliver and review audit or advisory work.
• Strong communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined engagements or workstreams within the Risk Advisory Services.
• Support engagement planning, delivery and ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Develop junior team members and contribute to their growth.
• Balance management activities with hands-on audits and specialist assignments.
• Travel to client sites as required and apply data analytics or AI-enabled techniques.
