Job summary

Maven Partners Offshore in Jersey seeks a Senior Manager, Technology to lead service delivery across infrastructure, platforms, cloud, networks and end-user services. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership to ensure service resilience, security and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with the CIO and senior stakeholders to shape technology strategy and drive operational excellence, transformation and AI adoption across the technology landscape.

Qualifications

• Significant senior technology leadership experience in complex environments.

• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services) is preferred.

Job description

We are supporting a leading organisation seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Technology to lead technology service delivery across infrastructure, platforms, cloud, networks and end-user services. This is a senior leadership role combining strategic oversight with hands‑on operational leadership, with responsibility for service resilience, security, governance, suppliers and continuous improvement.

Working closely with the CIO and senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping technology strategy, driving operational excellence and supporting transformation, digital innovation and AI adoption.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the delivery, availability, performance and resilience of technology services across the organisation
• Oversee infrastructure, cloud, platforms and end-user technology, driving modernisation, automation and optimisation
• Own and continuously improve IT Service Management and operational processes
• Lead technology security, operational resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery activities
• Maintain strong technology governance, risk management, controls and regulatory compliance
• Manage technology budgets, procurement and strategic third‑party supplier relationships
• Support the CIO in delivering the Technology, Digital and Data strategy
• Lead and contribute to technology transformation, digital innovation and AI initiatives
• Provide senior leadership, reporting and insight across service performance, risk, security and operational effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Significant senior technology leadership experience, ideally 10–15+ years in progressively senior roles
• Proven experience leading technology operations, infrastructure, platforms or service delivery within a complex environment
• Experience within Financial Services or another highly regulated industry
• Strong understanding of modern technology environments, including cloud, infrastructure and ITSM
• Track record of delivering technology transformation and large‑scale change
• Experience managing strategic technology suppliers and third‑party relationships
• Strong knowledge of technology risk, governance, resilience and audit
• ITIL, CISSP, CISM or relevant cloud certification would be advantageous

• Able to balance strategic priorities with hands‑on operational leadership
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build collaborative, high‑performing technology teams
