The opportunity

The AI & Data practice works collaboratively with our clients to enhance their ability to solve complex business problems by exploiting data and analytics strategies and solutions. We provide expertise and delivery in the following core areas:

• Data Architecture & Engineering: Focusing on next-generation data solution architecture design and implementation.
• Data Management & Data Strategy: Supporting our clients with Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data and Analytics Target Operating Model Design, and wider Data Office and CDO support functions.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead large and complex projects (Data transformation, Data Analytics, Data strategy) from strategy to execution.
• Support the delivery of key Data and AI projects, nurture relationships within EY and with clients, and develop capabilities through training and mentoring.
• Contribute to Data and AI solution design and implementation, bringing expertise in cloud-based data and analytics solutions, sector domain, processes, and data.
• Build and lead high-performing teams, coaching and mentoring members.
• Engage in business development, including developing long-term trusted advisor relationships, leading RFP responses, and creating thought leadership.

Skills and attributes for success

Passion for delivering data technology solutions, advanced problem-solving skills, and effective communication of complex ideas are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in FS sectors such as Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, and Wealth & Asset Management, preferably Insurance.
• Advanced knowledge in Data Architecture & Engineering, Analytics, Cloud Architectures, Data Management, and Data Governance.
• Experience with complex data programs and data project design issues.
• Business development experience, including RFP responses and thought leadership.
• Leadership skills, team building, and talent nurturing.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, including GCP architecture and data warehousing.
• Certifications like Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect are advantageous.
• Interest in emerging technologies and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, exceed expectations, and handle commercial aspects.
• Stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
