Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is hiring a Senior Manager in Financial Crime Business Optimisation for a 12-month FTC across multiple UK locations, including Belfast. The role is hybrid, with at least two days per week in office, to lead a team embedding Financial Crime across business, product and technology change.

You will act as a trusted adviser, prioritise resources by risk, and deputise for the Head of Financial Crime Optimisation when needed.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of financial crime risk and controls; ability to translate policy into practical change requirements.
• Experience managing complex regulatory change from impact assessment to embedding.
• Strong risk judgement and ability to make decisions in complex scenarios.
• Proven ability to build relationships across business, operations, risk, change and technology.
• Ability to prioritise resources by risk/value and maintain delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of subject matter experts, setting clear priorities and allocating resources according to risk.
• Represent Financial Crime across business-led change, defining requirements and translating policy into practical solutions.
• Lead Financial Crime change across roadmaps, resolving barriers and influencing priorities and delivery.
• Provide expert advice on complex Financial Crime, risk, control and change matters with clear recommendations.
• Governance of Financial Crime change to ensure visibility and proper prioritisation at leadership levels.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen controls and improve operational efficiency and resilience.
• Use data and insight to inform prioritisation and support decision-making across the portfolio.
• Collaborate across Economic Crime Prevention to support policy, regulatory and audit actions with controlled AI adoption.
