Job summary

AQA is seeking a senior leader to shape and drive the Enterprise Applications support function in a hybrid Manchester-based role. You will lead a growing portfolio including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Workday and Enterprise AI, ensuring proactive, governed live services with strong governance and customer focus.

The role reports to the Enterprise Applications leadership team and emphasizes governance, supplier management, and service excellence, with a focus on continuous improvement and

Qualifications

• Experience leading an enterprise application support or IT service management function, including internal teams and third-party partners.
• Expert applied knowledge of application management and governance, including audit, risk, resilience and continuity.
• Practical understanding of ITIL and service management principles; ITIL certification welcome but not required.
• Knowledge of supporting cloud-based SaaS products, ideally Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Workday or enterprise AI.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and improve supplier/service performance.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and evolve end-to-end support delivery approaches for the portfolio.
• Lead support planning, prioritisation, and resource allocation across internal and 3rd party resources.
• Ensure governance, risk, resilience and continuity remain at the heart of live services.
• Provide proactive support and clear communications for system users and citizen developers.
• Design and transition new applications into live service with effective change management.
