Job summary

Sharp Consultancy are exclusively working with a fantastic, well-established manufacturing business that are looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join the team and play a key role in the company’s next phase of development.

In this hands-on role you will report to the Finance Director and oversee a small finance team, with a strong focus on month-end processes, budgeting and forecasting, VAT, and providing financial insight to support operational and commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified finance professional.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial mindset with data interpretation experience.
• Experience collaborating with finance and non-finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Full month-end ownership and presentation to stakeholders.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital and key controls.
• Lead year-end process and liaise with auditors.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives to maximise profitability.
• Influence strategic decisions by monitoring performance against budgets.
• Lead and support a small finance team.
