Job summary

Sharp Consultancy is seeking an experienced Head of Management Accounts to own the management accounting function, lead a team, deliver accurate reporting, and provide strategic insight to support commercial decisions. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will own monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting, develop the team, and drive improvements across processes, controls and systems.

The ideal candidate is fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with extensive management accounting experience,

Qualifications

Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with significant management accounting and team leadership experience.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Management Accounts team to deliver accurate and timely reporting.
Own the monthly management accounts process and board-level reporting.
Orchestrate budgeting and forecasting cycles across the organisation.
Identify trends, risks and opportunities and provide meaningful insight to senior stakeholders.
Partner with operational leaders to improve financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
Ensure robust balance sheet controls, reconciliations and governance.
