Qualified management accountant seeking a step up? Axon Moore has partnered with a PE-backed, £100m turnover business in central Manchester looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, with two AMAs reporting into you, your responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing 3-4 management accounts at month-end
2. Partnering with HR & IT teams to produce budgets and support profitability
3. Driving monthly balance sheet reconciliations across all companies
4. Reconciling monthly payroll charges, processing journals correctly, and completing analysis for the monthly pack
5. Providing daily gross margin reports and analyzing deviations from forecasts
6. Reviewing overheads monthly, understanding variances, and distributing reports to budget-holders
7. Delivering reporting for various month-end packs
8. Supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Director in year-end audits
9. Overseeing your team, setting KPIs, and providing support as needed

Person Specification

• Solid management accounts experience
• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced PE environment
