Job description

I am currently working exclusively with a fast-growing recruitment company looking to hire an experienced Senior Management Accountant. The main task of this role will be leading the standardisation of processes within the Finance function and embedding best practices with the existing team.

Main Responsibilities

1. Leading month-end reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
2. Producing high-quality financial analysis supported by relevant data.
3. Introducing system improvements and streamlining processes to enhance the overall function of the finance team.
4. Liaising with senior stakeholders and communicating findings related to management reporting.
5. Engaging with non-financial professionals and discussing financial terminology.
6. Collaborating with commercial and operational teams to drive profit improvement.
7. Managing and training junior accountants within the team.
8. Managing contract performance KPIs and dashboards.
9. Supporting external audits and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements in a timely manner.

Candidate Requirements

To be successful, you should be professionally qualified (ACA) with previous experience working within the finance department of a recruitment team. An eye for detail, a forward-thinking approach, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team are essential to hit the ground running. The role requires close collaboration with regional managers and effective communication with the SLT.
