Job summary

HCA UK’s Lister Hospital Breast Imaging Service seeks an experienced Mammography Superintendent to lead, coordinate and develop a high-quality breast imaging service across the Lister Hospital Campus including The Chelsea Outpatient Centre and Chiswick Medical Centre.

You will oversee daily operations, ensure clinical governance, mentor Mammographers and drive service improvements while delivering exceptional patient care and aligning with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration.
• Certificate of Competence in Mammography.
• Extensive post-qualification experience within Mammography and Breast Screening.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a mammography service.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A passion for delivering outstanding patient care and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the Breast Imaging Unit.
• Oversee delivery of a high-quality breast imaging service.
• Support and develop a team of Mammographers.
• Foster a culture of clinical governance and staff competency.
• Ensure service alignment with best practice and regulatory requirements.
