Job summary

HCA UK is seeking an experienced Mammography Superintendent to lead the Breast Imaging Unit across the Lister Hospital Campus, The Chelsea Outpatient Centre, and Chiswick Medical Centre. This senior role focuses on delivering high-quality breast imaging services with exceptional patient care, governance, and operational efficiency.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, develop a skilled Mammography team, and contribute to strategic growth while aligning with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• Diploma of the Society of Radiographers (or higher qualification).
• Certificate of Competence in Mammography.
• Extensive post-qualification experience within Mammography and Breast Screening.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a mammography service.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A passion for delivering outstanding patient care and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the Breast Imaging Unit.
• Support and develop a team of Mammographers and foster a culture of excellence.
• Maintain high levels of clinical governance and staff competencies.
• Contribute to service improvements and strategic growth plans.
