You will identify and attract new events, support the continued success of current ones, procure contracts for event promoters, and partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver measurable social, cultural and economic benefits.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and delivery of the major events programme.
• Identifying and attracting new events to the area and supporting existing events.
• Procuring contracts for major event promoters and related organisations.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver measurable social, cultural and economic benefits.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance, licensing requirements, and contingency planning.
