Qualifications

• Experience in a precision engineering or machine tool environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills on CNC equipment.
• Experience diagnosing faults in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Understanding CNC operation and machining accuracy.
• Knowledge of spindle and servo drive systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and reliability improvement.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Proactive mindset focused on performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and repair across CNC tools.
• Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain and optimise high-value manufacturing equipment including machining centers.
• Troubleshoot spindle systems, servo drives and machine controls.
• Monitor machine condition to improve OEE and reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Work with production and engineering to ensure safe, precise operation.
• Adhere to safety, quality and environmental standards.
