Job summary

Scotch Whisky is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide technical expertise across engineering assets. You will perform planned, predictive and corrective maintenance on a range of plant and equipment, supporting safe operations and continuous improvement within a high‑performing team.

Responsibilities include responding to breakdowns, performing root cause analysis, and recording maintenance in the CMMS (IFS).

Qualifications

• Qualified maintenance technician with mechanical discipline experience.
• Skilled in planned, reactive and predictive maintenance on wide range of plant/equipment.
• Strong problem solver with RCA, FMEA/FMECA or similar.
• Competent in using CMMS systems (IFS advantageous).
• Strong communicator within cross functional teams.
• Committed to safety, continuous improvement and inclusive teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance activities in compliance with safe practices and relevant standards.
• Provide specialist technical support to maximise efficiency across assets.
• Drive team-based improvement initiatives including RCA and FMEA/FMECA.
• Respond to unplanned breakdowns; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective solutions.
• Update maintenance records and technical documentation in the CMMS (IFS).
• Record electrical, mechanical and instrumentation maintenance for KPI reporting.
• Collaborate within a high-performing team and support production plans.
• Participate in on-call rota for out-of-hours maintenance.
• Demonstrate behaviours aligned with diversity and inclusion.
