Job summary

Cobalt Recruitment is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for our Leeds site. This hands-on role requires repairing and maintaining facilities across the site, while guiding a small team of junior operatives.

You'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure safety and quality across all works. This is not a desk-based supervisory post; you will stay hands-on and contribute to high standard site operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience across multiple trades.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor junior operatives and support the team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Perform repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and decorating.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs.
• Support and guide junior maintenance operatives.
• Maintain safe working practices and records.
• Prioritise day-to-day maintenance tasks.
