Job summary

Cobalt Consulting (UK) Ltd is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for a hands‑on role in Leeds. You will perform reactive and planned maintenance, diagnose faults and repair a wide range of building systems. You’ll also guide a small team of junior operatives and help prioritise daily tasks to maintain high standards.

This permanent, full‑time position is based in Leeds and offers progression opportunities while remaining hands‑on with maintenance work. Salary is up to £35,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience across broad range of trades.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience guiding junior operatives and providing practical support.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Complete a broad range of hands-on repairs and general building maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Undertake minor plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, painting and decorating within your competence.
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritise tasks.
• Provide guidance and support to junior maintenance operatives.
