Senior Maintenance Technician

Location: Fareham

Working Hours: 08:00-16:30 Mon-Thurs, 08:00-13:00 Fri

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

The Role:

This position involves maintaining, ensuring compliance, and improving heat treatment equipment such as furnaces and ovens used in aerospace component manufacturing. The role ensures equipment meets NADCAP and AMS2750 standards, setting the benchmark across the business.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead compliance and standards for heat treatment equipment used in aerospace component creation.
2. Coordinate maintenance activities, liaise with suppliers for repairs, ensure compliance, and maintain calibration and standards records.
3. Engage with customers and suppliers to schedule servicing, plan preventative maintenance, and ensure continuous operation of thermal equipment.
4. Ensure adherence to NADCAP Aerospace requirements and AMS2750 standards.

Skills Required:

• Experience in maintaining heat treatment furnaces and ovens.
• Engineering qualification such as HNC, ONC, NVQ, degree, or significant experience in a similar engineering role.
• Knowledge of NADCAP Aerospace regulations or AMS2750 standards is a plus but not essential.
