Job summary

Beaverbrook Town House in central London seeks a Senior Engineer to oversee maintenance across the property, manage external contractors and stay on call for emergencies. Your role ensures health and safety compliance, budgeting for maintenance services and timely repairs to high standards.

You will work 40 hours a week (Mon–Fri with weekends as needed), 08:00–16:30, and enjoy a competitive salary plus benefits including pension, life insurance and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire safety management and related compliance
• F-Gas handling and PAT testing knowledge
• Asbestos awareness and working at height requirements

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance tasks via logbook, work orders, and projects
• Respond to guest maintenance needs promptly and professionally
• Maintain equipment in line with health and safety regulations
• Manage emergency and security systems (fire alarms, CCTV)
• Handle procurement and budget for maintenance services
