Job summary

Catch 22 is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to lead operations for a high-end residential complex in central London (EC1V). The role focuses on overseeing maintenance, contractor performance and ensuring an exceptional living environment for residents.

You will manage M&E suppliers, ensure safety compliance, conduct site inspections, and support budget reviews. Engineering background preferred, with experience in large-scale developments in city environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in facilities management for high-end residential or similar.
• Experience leading large teams and contractor management.
• Strong knowledge of compliance, health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Operations: oversee planned and reactive maintenance to ensure premier living environments.
• Contractor Management: lead third‑party contractors and M&E suppliers for safe, quality delivery.
• Compliance & Health and Safety: manage statutory records and conduct routine safety testing.
• Day-to-day Management: site inspections, manage stock, readings, and CCTV oversight.
• Financial & Admin Support: assist budget reviews, contract renewals, and waste management.

Job Overview

• Role: Senior Facilities Manager / Lead Facilities Manager
• Location: London, EC1V
• Salary: to £70,000 per year
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Engineering background preferred

Ideally some previous experience managing large, complex, and high-end residential, healthcare or corporate developments preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Operations: Support the Development Manager in overseeing both planned and reactive maintenance activity. Ensure a premier living environment for residents while upholding pristine estate presentation.
• Contractor Management: Lead and manage third‑party contractors, including Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) suppliers, ensuring proper performance and safe working practices.
• Compliance & Health and Safety: Oversee statutory compliance records through internal software. Conduct routine testing on emergency lighting, fire alarms, smoke vents, and emergency lift lines.
• Day-to-day Management: Conduct frequent site and communal area inspections, manage stock control, facilitate utility meter readings, and monitor CCTV operations.
• Financial & Admin Support: Assist the Development Manager with budget coordination, contract reviews, lease compliance, and waste management systems.
