Job summary

Beaverbrook Town House in central London seeks a Senior Engineer to oversee routine, preventative and emergency maintenance across the property, manage external contractors, and stay on call for emergencies.

You will lead health and safety compliance, budget procurement for maintenance services, and maintain fire alarm and CCTV systems, matching Beaverbrook's warm, thoughtful hospitality standard.

Qualifications

• Must have Fire Safety and occupational safety knowledge.
• Qualified in Health and Safety Management or equivalent preferred.
• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2+ in Electrical Installations, Plumbing, Mechanical Building Maintenance or Building Services Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine, preventative and emergency maintenance across the property.
• Manage external maintenance contractors and ensure contractual obligations are met at competitive prices.
• Remain on call for essential emergencies, coordinating with the Health & Safety Manager.
