Job summary

ITM Power is seeking a maintenance engineer to perform planned, preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on our green hydrogen production assets. You will support reliability initiatives such as RCM and FMEA, diagnose faults, and implement permanent corrective actions, while following safety standards.

The role requires reading technical drawings and working to company standards across automation, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

Experience as maintenance engineer in automation, pneumatics, rotating/static equipment, instrumentation or multidisciplinary plant assets.
Ability to read technical drawings (P&IDs, schematics, mechanical drawings).
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Commitment to safety and risk management; continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

Execute planned, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities according to schedules and safety requirements.
Support reliability improvement initiatives, including RCM & FMEA.
Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective actions following the right first-time mindset.
Read technical drawings (P&IDs, schematics) and maintain plant assets per company standards.
