Specsavers is seeking an experienced multi-skilled engineer to maintain CNC machinery and high-value production assets. You will diagnose faults, install and commission equipment, and work with OEMs and contractors on upgrades to improve reliability and efficiency.

With a Level 3 or higher engineering qualification and strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic fault-finding skills, you will solve complex issues, interpret drawings, and operate independently while building strong team

Qualifications

• Possess Level 3 or above in engineering and significant hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and pneumatic fault-finding skills with CNC experience.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and schematics, work independently.

Responsabilités

• Own planned and reactive maintenance across CNC machinery and automated production equipment.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults to lasting solutions.
• Install, modify and commission equipment; drive uptime and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with OEMs, contractors on upgrades and projects to boost performance.
• Use data and root-cause analysis to improve safety, efficiency and asset availability.
