Job summary

EDF Energy is seeking an experienced M365 Architect to shape the digital workplace across the UK. You will influence enterprise technology strategy, lead design across Microsoft 365, identity and device services, and mentor engineers.

Deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with governance and drive engineering standards while partnering with architecture, security, product and operations teams to improve outcomes for over 20,000 users.

Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft 365, identity and device platforms.
Proven ability to design enterprise-scale solutions.
Strong understanding of security, compliance and governance.
Experience with DevOps, automation and configuration as code.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design and strategic platform direction across Microsoft 365, identity and device services.
Deliver secure, compliant and enterprise-scale solutions aligned with architecture and business objectives.
Define engineering standards, technical policies and design guardrails across Digital Workplace platforms.
Mentor Platform Engineers and act as a senior technical escalation point for complex challenges.
Collaborate with architecture, security, product and operations teams to drive continuous improvement.
