Job summary

Equans is seeking a Senior M&E Technician to join the team at North Middlesex University Hospital, London. This full-time role includes participation in an agreed emergency on-call rota, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

You will maintain boiler plant and equipment, perform planned, scheduled, and reactive maintenance, and assist in organising trade staff, deputising for the M&E Supervisor when needed. A strong commitment to safety and accurate record-keeping is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified in a relevant mechanical or electrical discipline with a City and Guilds, BTEC or equivalent qualification.
• Holder of a 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certificate.
• Three to five years of experience after completing apprenticeship or training programme.
• Skilled in planned, scheduled and reactive maintenance, boiler plant maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain boiler plant and associated equipment, with accurate record keeping.
• Complete planned, scheduled, reactive maintenance and installation works.
• Support the organisation of trade staff and stand in for the M&E Supervisor when required.
• Complete paperwork and work safely in line with company policies.
