Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager / SR163 PCSM to oversee on-site M&E works at a National Grid substation project in Indian Queens, Cornwall. You will ensure safe, efficient delivery on site, coordinating subcontractors and site operatives to meet programme requirements.

The role requires strong health and safety focus, excellent communication and the ability to lead site teams, maintain quality standards and liaise with site management and stakeholders to resolve

Qualifications

• SR163 / PCSM qualification required.
• Experience on National Grid substation projects.
• Strong health & safety knowledge in a substation environment.
• Effective communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage site activities and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise M&E works on a live substation project.
• Take responsibility for the safe delivery of works within your area.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and programmes.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality; liaise with site management and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and identify any issues or potential delays.
• Ensure site activities are carried out in accordance with relevant procedures and permits.
• Provide leadership and direction to site teams.
