Job summary

Carrington West seeks an experienced M&E Site Manager for a National Grid substation project. Site-based, 50 hours per week, contract running until 30 April 2027, start ASAP.

Ideal candidate holds SR163 and National Grid authorisation, with proven HV/substation delivery. You will manage day-to-day M&E works on site, coordinating teams and contractors to meet safety and programme requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience as M&E Site Manager in power/T&D infrastructure.
• National Grid substation experience.
• SR163 certification.
• National Grid authorisation.
• Manual Handling certification/ability.
• Strong health and safety knowledge in HV environments.
• Proven contractor and site team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day M&E activities on site
• Coordinating site teams, contractors and subcontractors
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with the project programme
• Monitoring the quality and progress of works
• Working closely with the wider project and construction management teams
• Ensuring works comply with National Grid procedures and site requirements
• Managing site health, safety and quality standards
• Supporting the successful delivery of works through to completion
