Job summary

MRR Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day work on a live 400kV substation project in the UK. You will align with the Project Manager, engineering teams and client representatives to deliver safely and on programme.

The role requires SR163, proven HV/EHV and National Grid experience, and the ability to step into an established project from day one, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors on site.

Qualifications

• SR163 authorisation is essential.
• Experience in National Grid transmission environments is required.
• Proven site management on HV/EHV or substation projects.
• Strong 400kV substation experience desired.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary site teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site activities on a live 400kV substation project.
• Coordinate electrical, civil and specialist subcontractors.
• Ensure RAMS, permits, site documentation and National Grid requirements.
• Monitor progress and address programme or delivery risks.
• Maintain HSEQ and CDM standards across the project.
• Communicate with client, subcontractors and wider project team.
