A leading construction consultancy near Bournemouth is seeking a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will handle large scale projects in the Mechanical and Electrical sector, manage junior Quantity Surveyors, and prepare tender documents. A degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred, alongside strong interpersonal skills. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £75,000 - £95,000 plus benefits.
Qualifications
Experience in the Mechanical and Electrical sector is essential.
Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying is desired.
Strong interpersonal skills are desired for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
Act in a client facing role taking on large scale Mechanical and Electrical projects.
Management of more junior Quantity Surveyors when required on larger projects.
Production & Preparation of tender reports/documents.
Cost plans & advise on cost options.
Analysis, evaluation/assessment of tender reports.
Negotiation and contract formulation and interim valuations.
Review the Preparation of cost plans.
Preparation of recommendations for award of contractor packages.
Attending meetings with clients.
Contract administration.
Closing and finalising final accounts.
