Job summary

A leading construction consultancy near Bournemouth is seeking a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will handle large scale projects in the Mechanical and Electrical sector, manage junior Quantity Surveyors, and prepare tender documents. A degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred, alongside strong interpersonal skills. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £75,000 - £95,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Mechanical and Electrical sector is essential.
• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying is desired.
• Strong interpersonal skills are desired for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Act in a client facing role taking on large scale Mechanical and Electrical projects.
• Management of more junior Quantity Surveyors when required on larger projects.
• Production & Preparation of tender reports/documents.
• Cost plans & advise on cost options.
• Analysis, evaluation/assessment of tender reports.
• Negotiation and contract formulation and interim valuations.
• Review the Preparation of cost plans.
• Preparation of recommendations for award of contractor packages.
• Attending meetings with clients.
• Contract administration.
• Closing and finalising final accounts.
