Job summary

Fawkes and Reece seeks a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on a major cut-and-carve scheme with a £20 million MEP value. The role is based in London and requires extensive M&E QS experience within a main contracting environment.

Working closely with the senior commercial manager and site teams, you will drive project profitability, manage subcontractors, and maintain strong client relationships on a prestigious project.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in M&E Quantity Surveying on large projects.
• Experience on large cut-and-carve or commercial new build schemes.
• Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering).

Role:

They are currently seeking a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor who will take on commercial responsibility for one of the more major commercial cut and carve schemes, with the MEP value at £20 million. This project is due to start imminently. Working closely with the senior commercial manager and site teams, you will ensure projects are delivered profitably whilst maintaining strong client relationships and managing the subcontractor.

The ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in M&E Quantity Surveying having degrees in the relevant discipline with main contracting experience. You will also have worked on a large cut and carve or commercial new build project. The contract is set to be 12-18 months.
