Job summary

Fawkes & Reece West is supporting an established M&E client by recruiting an experienced Project Manager for a temporary assignment. You will oversee M&E refurbishment works on a Windsor hotel and spa complex, ensuring delivery safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

This role suits an experienced M&E PM with refurbishment background, offering involvement in a high-profile project for an extended period.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager in construction or building services.
• Strong track record delivering M&E refurbishment projects in complex occupied environments (hotels/leisure).
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Experience coordinating M&E works with other construction disciplines.
• Excellent programme management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Good health and safety knowledge in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for successful delivery of M&E refurbishment works.
• Coordinate M&E subcontractors, engineers, site teams and suppliers.
• Ensure works align with programme, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate M&E works with broader refurbishment programme.
• Monitor progress, productivity and quality throughout the project.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Liaise with client, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and delays.
• Ensure commissioning, testing and handover procedures are completed.
• Maintain accurate project records and provide progress updates.
