Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd. is representing a Mechanical Manager / M&E Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical services on a £100m super-prime residential refurbishment project in Surrey.

The role requires coordinating M&E packages from installation through to handover and working closely with consultants, subcontractors and the project team. The successful candidate will review drawings, manage site install quality, and ensure safety and programme compliance throughout the long-term

Qualifications

• Previous experience working for either a main contractor or specialist M&E contractor.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical building services and M&E coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and construction best practice.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain quality under demanding project conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of mechanical and public health installations to a significant section of the project.
• Coordinate M&E subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and design information.
• Monitor quality control and ensure all installations meet project and client requirements.
• Work closely with the site, commercial and design teams to resolve technical issues.
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Support testing, commissioning and final handover activities.
