Job summary

Bouygues UK is seeking a Commercial Lead (M&E) for a Jersey-based project. You will drive the commercial strategy for mechanical and electrical packages, oversee budgets, procurement, and risk management, and partner with project teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires senior QS-level leadership, NEC/JCT contract knowledge, and a strong focus on cost control, supplier relations, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience leading commercial management on mechanical and electrical packages.
• Proven track record with main contractors in large projects, preferably in Jersey or the UK.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/JCT family of contracts and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct financial, contractual, and operational health of projects, including budgeting and cost reporting.
• Oversee procurement, supplier management, and subcontractor awards.
• Manage risk, change control, and final accounts to protect profitability.
• Mentor junior QS/commercial staff and collaborate with project managers and clients.
