Job summary

BOUYGUES UK is seeking an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor for a project in Jersey. The role involves maximizing commercial results, managing procurement, and overseeing financial reporting. Candidates must have senior-level experience in M&E Quantity Surveying, including financial forecasting and people management. Qualifications

• Previous experience in M&E Quantity Surveying at a senior level with a main contractor/MEP subcontractor.
• Experience in producing financial reports, including forecast, net margin, and activity.
• Experience covering both pre- and post-contract phases.

Responsibilities

• Maximise the commercial results of projects by delivering optimum profit performance against internal budgets.
• Manage procurement of Sub‑contractors and financial & contractual oversight.
• Prepare and agree Interim Valuations with the Client & progress the agreement of Variations.

At Bouygues we require an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor for a specific project based in Jersey. Bouygues’ operates an MEP Unbundled strategy, reducing reliance on external suppliers to improve quality, safety, and project control.

Key Qualifications

• Previous experience in M&E Quantity Surveying at a senior level with a main contractor/MEP subcontractor
• Managing (M&E) subcontractor packages
• Experience in producing financial reports, including forecast, net margin, and activity
• Strong commercial awareness
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produces accurate work
• Facilitates the training and development of the Quantity Surveying Team
• Demonstrates a solid understanding/management of company reporting timetables, as well as key tools & procedures
• BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Experience covering both pre- and post-contract phases

Role Summary

Collaborate with the Project Manager and other team members. Prepare and agree Interim Valuations with the Client & progress the agreement of Variations as work proceeds, utilising company tools.
