Job summary

A reputable property management firm in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated professional to support the growth of its Asset Division. Responsible for leading projects and collaborating across divisions, applicants should possess up to 5 years of experience in the Building Surveying market, along with knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical Services. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Support development of Assets Division, driving sustainable growth, statutory compliance and governance, retention and development of our client base.
  • Assist in growing the customer base so that Bellrock Consulting positively contributes to the growth and financial performance of the business overall.
  • Be a proactive team member within the Asset Division, ensuring that the company culture and behaviours are always displayed.
  • Undertake survey work as directed by Service Lead or Lead Consultant.
  • Assist with project progress meetings where necessary, and keep the Lead Consultant / Service Lead informed of progress.
  • Take a senior role in projects and have responsibility for surveyors.
  • Work collaboratively with other people across other divisions to achieve Bellrock Consulting targets and present a seamless approach to clients.
  • Develop network and work collaboratively with all contacts, working closely with them to manage and offer new business activity for all services across the business but with focus on Bellrock Consulting services, ensuring this is applied to all new opportunities.
  • Attend and contribute to Asset Division CPD Meetings.
  • Support colleagues where appropriate. Proficient IT use to ensure deliverables can be issued in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to Concerto CRM, CASE and Quality Management processes.
  • Develop the Assets service line, working with the Head of Department.
  • Support other Bellrock Consulting BU's.
  • Ability to support and train surveyors and new staff as required.
  • Follow industry practice and legislation to deliver competent Assets Services.
  • Creates new and imaginative approaches to work related issues, identifies fresh approaches and shows a willingness to question traditional assumptions.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Reasonable knowledge of the Building Surveying market, with up to 5 years direct experience.
  • Experience in Building Services, in particular Mechanical and Electrical.
  • Ability to deliver M&E Asset Surveys.
  • Compliance with Concerto CRM, CASE, and Quality Management processes.
Travel & Location
  • Ability to travel UK-wide as part of the position. Some overnight stays may be required.
