Job summary

Yellow 42 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager for a prestigious luxury hospitality destination in Perthshire. You will lead Conference & Banqueting and Private Dining operations, delivering high-profile events with outstanding service and financial oversight.

You will manage staffing, budgets and a talented events team, collaborating with planning, culinary and operations to maximise client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hospitality, events or Conference & Banqueting.
• Proven track record delivering complex, high-profile events.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness.
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
• Calm, solutions-focused under pressure.
• Hands-on approach with meticulous attention to detail.
• Confident with VIPs, clients, suppliers and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of Conference & Banqueting and Private Dining.
• Deliver high-profile events to exceptional service and operational standards.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing events team.
• Collaborate with Events Planning, Culinary and wider operational teams.
• Manage staffing, resources, budgets, payroll and departmental performance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Act as senior point of contact for VIP guests and complex events.
• Drive continuous improvement, commercial performance and guest experiences.
• Be a visible, hands-on leader who leads by example.
