Responsibilities

1. Develop further qualifications in construction logistics for yourself and your team.
2. Manage logistics on construction sites, ensuring compliance with legal requirements such as section 60 & 61, driver hours, and safety standards.
3. Oversee site establishment, operation, and maintenance, including vehicle safety, loading methods, and material scheduling.
4. Liaise with stakeholders like local authorities, police, and highways agencies.
5. Ensure compliance with standards like CLOCS, FORS, and Traffic Management Acts.
6. Manage temporary traffic regulation orders and site security.
7. Coordinate with construction, utilities, or highway authorities and manage contracts.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support site setup, including logistics planning for labour, plant, and materials.
• Lead a logistics team, developing and maintaining plans such as the Construction Logistics Plan and Traffic Management Plan.
• Manage fleet schemes, compliance, and site security measures.
• Oversee vehicle movements, logistics staff, and safe working practices.
• Coordinate with procurement, security, and construction teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop long-term and daily movement plans, manage materials, and evaluate logistics suppliers.
