Laboratory Manager and Senior Research Technician

Can you provide laboratory management and senior technical support for multiple active research labs across a range of facilities supporting research in Oral Biology? Do you have excellent analytical, organisational, and time-management skills?

The Division of Oral Biology is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in microbiology and ideally experience in tissue culture, biochemistry, or biomaterials. The role involves providing technical support and laboratory management to academic staff, research staff, and postgraduate research students.

The position is based in the Division of Oral Biology’s state-of-the-art laboratories at The Wellcome Trust Brenner Building, St James University Campus. The team is internationally recognized for interdisciplinary research in development, pathology of tissues, and regenerative therapies.
