Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Locum Consultant - cellular Pathologist in Broomfield Town, Chelmsford. The post is a 6-month sabbatical cover with 10 sessions per week (plus 2 APAs) and a salary between £113,565 and £150,569 per year (pro rata for part time).

This busy histopathology department handles a wide range of specimens across GI, breast, urology, gynecology, renal and more, with dynamic workload allocation using RCPath points.

Formación

• GMC Registration, FRC Path, MBBS or equivalent, CCT Registration are required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver a diagnostic histopathology service of high quality.
• Contribute to development of general and specialist histology to support the Trust in high quality reports.
• Work flexibly to support timely reporting of histology and cytology requests.
• Undertake an appropriate share of the frozen section rota.
• Participate in MDT meetings.
• Contribute to standard operating procedures.
• Engage in clinical audit and research to maintain standards.
