Job summary

VerseOne Group in the United Kingdom seeks a histopathology professional to deliver a diagnostic histopathology service of high quality and to support the development of general and specialist histology within the Trust.

You will work flexibly with colleagues to ensure timely reporting of histology and cytology requests, undertake a share of the frozen section rota, and participate in MDT meetings while helping maintain standard operating procedures and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a diagnostic histopathology service of high quality.
• Contribute to development of general and specialist histology to support the Trust in ensuring provision of high quality reports.
• Work flexibly with colleagues to support the timely reporting of histology and cytology requests.
• Undertake an appropriate share of the frozen section rota.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary clinical meetings (MDT).
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
• Ensure that standards are maintained and developed through clinical audit, evidence- based research and appraisal.
