Job summary

EQT Corporation seeks an experienced Senior LNG Originator to identify, develop, and execute LNG sale, purchase, and trading opportunities across our global portfolio. Based in London, Singapore or Houston, with preference for Singapore, you will lead complex commercial negotiations and build senior-level relationships with counterparties and portfolio players.

You will work closely with Trading, Legal, Shipping, Risk and Regulatory teams to structure and close high-value LNG transactions,

Qualifications

5-10+ years of LNG origination experience.
Network of LNG counterparties across buyers, sellers, and portfolio players.
Experience negotiating long-form LNG/gas contracts (SPAs, MTAs).
Experience in deal structuring, pricing mechanisms, and risk allocation.
Cross-functional collaboration with Trading, Legal, Shipping, Risk and Finance.
Fluency in English; other languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead identification, development, and execution of LNG sale, supply, and trading opportunities.
Shape origination strategy and market entry approaches.
Lead high-value negotiations and secure favourable terms.
Originate and manage a portfolio of counterparties to grow volumes and margins.
Oversee contract structuring with Legal and Risk to align with objectives and regulations.
Build and maintain senior-level relationships with LNG suppliers, buyers, and strategic partners.
