Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Senior European Gas Originator / Structured Trader to join the front-office Europe Gas & Power Trading team in London. You will develop and commercialise the European gas portfolio, structure and negotiate large trading P&L through various deals, and collaborate with Finance, Risk and Law to maximize risk-adjusted returns.

The role requires a deep understanding of European gas markets, complex asset price risk, and experience with bilateral commodity deals (EFET, ISDA).

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-value flow / structured products.
• Understanding of complex asset price risk, volatility, and hedging.
• Experience in bilateral commodity deals (EFET, ISDA).

Responsibilities

• Develop and commercialise ExxonMobil’s European gas portfolio.
• Identify, structure, negotiate and deliver large trading P&L through structured deals.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk and Law to maximize risk-adjusted returns across asset types.
• Identify counterparties to maximize P&L and facilitate deal capture.
• Advise on asset optimisation strategies and provide commercial support during events.
