Job summary

ExxonMobil in London is seeking a Senior European Gas Originator / Structured Trader to lead the development of the European gas portfolio and deliver high-value P&L through structured deals.

Based in London, you will partner with Traders, Quants and Structurers, work with Finance, Risk and Law to optimise risk-adjusted returns and expand the firm's Europe gas trading capabilities, while upholding the highest standards of compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Gas Originator or Structured Trader delivering high-value flow/structured products.
• Knowledge of European gas markets and asset price risk.
• Experience with bilateral commodity deals (EFET, ISDA) and primary infrastructure auctions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and commercialise ExxonMobil’s European gas portfolio.
• Identify, structure, negotiate and deliver large trading P&L through structured deals.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk and Law to maximise risk-adjusted returns.
• Leverage market knowledge to select counterparties and capture deals.
• Advise on asset optimisation strategies during operational events.
