Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator for Droitwich Mews Care Home in Droitwich. You will deliver a wide range of activities to support residents' physical, psychological and social well-being, while upholding privacy, dignity, independence, choice and fulfilment.

Key duties include understanding residents’ life histories, planning monthly activity outputs, arranging events and outings, and maintaining a safe, positive home environment.

Qualifications

• Older people in a residential nursing or Dementia setting experience preferred.
• Experience organising activities and events.
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
• Positive attitude toward older people and commitment to providing stimulating activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify life history, needs and preferences to develop a detailed life story.
• Plan and submit monthly activity and wellbeing plan and weekly overview to Home Manager.
• Arrange activities, events and outings, involving staff, relatives and visitors.
• Maintain a safe living and working environment and contribute to a positive image of the home.
