Melksham Gardens in Trowbridge is seeking an Events Manager to lead the planning and delivery of in-house events and activities for residents, enriching daily life and social engagement.

You'll manage a small events team, coordinate with suppliers, and build partnerships with the local community while overseeing budgets and evaluating outcomes to reflect residents' preferences in care plans.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as an Events Manager or in a similar role, preferably within luxury hospitality or senior living.
• Experience planning and delivering regular events and daily activities, including excursions.
• Strong budget management and negotiation skills.
• Level 2 Certificate in Event Planning or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of in-house events and activities.
• Develop a varied programme reflecting the calendar year, national celebrations and resident interests.
• Manage and support a team of Events Assistants and liaise with external suppliers to ensure high standards.
• Build strong relationships with the local community and promote Melksham Gardens as a vibrant place to live and visit.
• Manage budgets, evaluate event success and reflect participation in individual care plans.
• Be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends and public holidays, and participate in an on-call arrangement.
• Record and evaluate outcomes of events and activities to inform care plans.
