Job summary

Avon Search & Selection is seeking an Activities Coordinator for a 35hrs/week role in Caldicot, offering £13.75 per hour. You will plan and deliver engaging activities in a nursing and residential home, promoting social, physical and mental wellbeing for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior care, assisted living, or nursing home settings essential.
• Strong passion for providing care and improving residents' quality of life.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Knowledge of mental health problems care practices and techniques desirable.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing and overseeing activities for residents in a nursing home.
• Developing engaging programs promoting socialization, physical activity and mental stimulation.
• Coordinating events and entertainment to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Collaborating with staff to tailor activities to residents' needs and preferences.
• Maintaining accurate records of participation and resident preferences.
