Job summary

Nurse Seekers Ltd is seeking an Activities Coordinator for a 35-hour week in Caldicot. The role focuses on planning and delivering engaging activities for residents in a nursing home, aiming to boost social interaction, physical activity and mental stimulation.

The successful candidate will work with care staff to tailor programs to residents’ needs and preferences, maintain activity records, and support a lively, inclusive home environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior care or nursing home settings
• Strong passion for improving residents' quality of life
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of mental health care practices desirable

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and oversee activities for residents in a nursing home setting
• Develop engaging programs to promote socialization, physical activity and mental stimulation
• Coordinate events and entertainment to enhance residents' quality of life
• Collaborate with staff to ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences
